Domain Hosting services are all provided without any contracts, and you can upgrade your web hosting service online anytime – so don’t worry if you need more space or resources, we have you covered!

You need to choose a domain name as the first step, then select a hosting plan. All of this can be completed within 5 minutes. Once we receive your payment, the domain name is registered and your account is created. You can then begin building your website. We can preinstall WordPress on your new site which has access to hundreds of themes to get you started.

Yes, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee on all our hosting plans, excluding domain name registration fees.
We don’t currently offer a free trial but in the unlikely scenario that you are unhappy with the hosting product that you have purchased, get in touch with us and we will refund any payment you have made, less the cost of any domain registrations ($28 + GST for a .co.nz domain).
Yes, as soon as payment is received a Client Area and Hosting Account is set up. Domain name registrations are also immediate after payment. Most domain name transfers take about an hour to transfer, .com & .net domains can take up to 5 days to transfer. We will need to install WordPress for you and set up Divi Builder and this can take 1-2 hours during business hours. If you do not need us to install either of these products for you, please let us know when you place the order and you can begin using your hosting plan immediately. If you purchase a new domain name, it may take up to 24 hours for the DNS to propagate. You will be able to begin building your site, but it will not be live until this process is completed. WordPress is included with every hosting plan and is a great start, which is compatible with plugins that allow you to add features such as eCommerce and live chat & much more. Thousands of pre-made themes and templates are available and a wealth of guides, tutorials and help available online.

We do not offer web design services ourselves, however have many customers who are web designers. We’d love to make an introduction!

All hosting plans include a FREE Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate. This secures your site by encrypting information sent to and from the site and makes your site a secure https:// site. An SSL certificate is essential for SEO, Google will flag all non https:// sites as unsafe.

Yes we do! When you purchase any hosting plan you will automatically get access to email hosting as part of that plan. Please note that there are limits to the number of emails you will be able to retain, particularly if they contain large attachments. If you require access to another email service such as Google Workspace we can help you get set up with email using your own domain for a small charge.

It’s a really simple process to register a domain name with Domain Hosting. Simply type your desired domain name into the domain name search on the homepage, we will tell you if the domain name is available. We will also suggest some additional options so you can make sure no one else registers a similar name, it’s often a good idea to register .co.nz, .net.nz and .nz domains to secure your name. When you’ve selected your domains, follow the simple steps to select a hosting plan for your website or checkout to purchase just the domains by themselves. Please note that only certain characters are permissible in domain names. These are as follows: Letters: a-z (always lower case) Numbers: 0-9 Symbols: – (hyphen) Domain names may not have spaces in them. You can create the impression of a space with a hyphen – eg. my-domain.co.nz.
It’s really easy and FREE* to transfer your domain to Domain Hosting. Follow the easy steps on this page and we’ll do all the heavy lifting for you. Please note that you will need to have your UDAI/EPP code for your domain name, this can be obtained from your current registrar. Your domain name must not have expired and it must be unlocked.
To transfer an existing website and domain over to Domain Hosting, contact us and we’ll give you a quote. In most situations we can do this for FREE if you sign up to a hosting plan for 12 months or more (excludes Pilot & Starter plans). The process will normally be completed within 24 hours and will require minimal down time for your site.
*.com, .net domains require a mandatory 1 year registration and can take up to 5 days to transfer, most other domains can be transferred at no charge if they have more than 30 days until expiry.
All our hosting plans include the industry leading cPanel which makes it easy to manage your own website from a single pane without having to rely on experts. WordPress and several other applications can be accessed from your cPanel account. Once your account is set up, you can log into cPanel through your client area.
